Founded by Hans Faerber in Australia in 1952, NID has been operating for 60 years with over 600 starch moulding line installations equipment around the world. That’s arguably more starch moulding lines than all other starch moulding machine manufacturers put together!
From semiautomatic mechanical machines to today’s high speed automatic moguls with touch screen and servo controls, no other company can lay claim to have been at the forefront of every major technological advancement in starch moulding for over six decades.
Our specialization in confectionery production has concentrated our expertise and we continue to remain undistracted by other non-associated ventures. The organic development throughout the history of NID has provided a management structure which suits present and future needs.
